Refund Policy

This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, license delivery, downloads, and support review work for digital products provided by AimStrings under the RMO AI brand.

Effective date: May 2, 2026

1. Scope

  1. This policy applies to RMO Maestro and related digital products sold or licensed through the RMO AI website.
  2. RMO Maestro is currently pre-commercial. Checkout and license delivery are not live yet. When paid sales open, the checkout page or separate purchase terms will state the final price, payment method, license type, and refund terms.
  3. Early access, beta test, and free promotional versions are not eligible for monetary refunds where no payment was made. Availability issues or product errors for free access are handled through support.

2. Cancellation and Withdrawal

  1. After paid sales open, you may request cancellation, withdrawal, or a refund within the period stated by applicable law or the purchase page.
  2. Because digital products can be copied, cancellation rights may be limited once a license is issued or once download, activation, or use has started, where the limitation was clearly disclosed before purchase and a trial, preview, or verification method was provided as required by law.
  3. If the product is materially different from the description, advertising, or purchase terms, you may request cancellation or a refund within 3 months after receiving the product, or within 30 days after you knew or could have known about the issue, as provided by applicable law.
  4. Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

3. When Refunds May Be Available

  1. A duplicate charge, overpayment, payment authorization error, or other clear billing error is confirmed.
  2. Payment was completed, but the license or download was not delivered and the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable time.
  3. A material defect prevents normal use of a core product function in a supported environment, and the issue cannot be resolved through an update or reasonable support.
  4. The delivered product materially differs from the checkout description, product information, or purchase terms.
  5. A refund is required by applicable law or by payment provider policy.

4. When Refunds May Be Limited

  1. Your system does not meet operating system, DAW, plugin format, hardware, or other requirements disclosed before purchase.
  2. Delivery of copyable digital content has already started, including issuance of a license key, account license, download file, or beta build.
  3. You activated or substantially used the product and later request a refund due to a change of mind.
  4. The account or license violated the Terms of Service or license conditions, including account sharing, unauthorized copying, resale, reverse engineering, or bypassing security controls.
  5. The request concerns exchange-rate differences, card issuer fees, foreign transaction fees, or other amounts not directly received by us.

5. How to Request a Refund

Submit a request through a support ticket or email support@rmo.ai. To help us review the request, include your order number, account email, purchase date, reason for the request, system environment, and any screenshots, logs, or error messages.

We may ask for additional information needed to verify your identity, confirm the purchase, reproduce the issue, or check license and activation status.

6. Review and Payment

  1. We review the payment record, license delivery and activation status, download status, support history, applicable law, and the purchase terms.
  2. Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. If a payment provider or merchant of record processes the refund, its processing time and policies may also apply.
  3. Where a valid cancellation or withdrawal right applies under law, we will initiate the refund process within the legally required period. Card issuer or payment provider posting may take additional time.
  4. After a refund is completed, the related license, download, update, and support access may be canceled or limited.

7. Subscriptions, Renewals, and Education Licenses

If we later offer subscriptions, automatic renewals, free trials, student licenses, or institutional licenses, cancellation, renewal-stop, and partial refund terms will be disclosed before enrollment or in the applicable written agreement. Those terms apply together with this policy.

8. Contact and Changes

Questions about this policy can be sent to support@rmo.ai. We may update this policy when our product, payment providers, laws, or operations change. Material changes will be posted on the website or communicated by an appropriate method.
